About Us

Hi, I'm Kathy. Our family has always had a love of animals. We have volunteered with Lone Star Doberman Rescue (LSDR) and Canine Companion For Independence (CCI). We also volunteered with Humane Society of North Texas when my daughter was a girl scout and loved it! We have attended training classes through CCI and with the Zoom Room in Trophy Club with our adopted dogs. My Husband, J.D. and I are both retired, and have two beautiful adult children. We have been pet sitting on Rover for over 10 years, and decided to take the leap to start our own business, Reyna's Royal Pet Sitting. We feel pet sitting is our true calling and we have a love for dogs and cats. J.D. actually grew up around cats and loves the way they do their own thing! When we are not pet sitting or volunteering, you can find us walking the neighborhood, wood working, or at the gym. I personally love the warm months, and J.D. loves the fall! We decided on the name because of my heart dog, Reyna. We adopted her from LSDR in 2015 and she passed away in November 2024. She was the best girl ever. You will see her picture all throughout our social media. She is forever in our hearts. We are currently owned by Heathcliff, adopted from CCI, and Lucian and Xena, both adopted from LSDR. We also have Khaleesi, a Beardie, and a tank full of fish.
